ArtJohn.co.uk is a space to discover exciting art lesson ideas, simple video tutorials and a showcase for quality art education practise led by experienced arts educator, John Mayson.
With over a decade of arts education experience, ArtJohn can support your school, museum or organisation to realise ambitious and rewarding arts education projects, through led workshops, consultation and training.

WHAT DOES ARTJOHN DO?
ArtJohn has worked on many different projects exploring a wide variety of art techniques and processes including animation, large-scale painting, photography and sculpture. He has worked within the formal education sector and has a strong knowledge of the school curriculum and the needs of primary schools, resulting in work that supports the learning of all subjects and creates exciting, rich visual environments.
ArtJohn has significant experiences working with arts organisations and heritage sites to develop and deliver onsite activities for children and family audiences. ArtJohn can create activities and experiences rooted in exhibitions, objects and site specific stories.
ArtJohn creates bespoke CPD sessions for colleagues within early years, primary and secondary schools and more, to increase the confidence and skills of participants in their own arts education practise.
